Milpitas, Santa Clara County
Milpitas sits at the south end of San Francisco Bay, with San Jose directly below it and the Diablo Range rising to the east. Ed Levin County Park climbs those hills from the edge of town and is a regular launch site for hang gliders. A rail station that opened in 2020 connects Milpitas to both the BART system and local light rail.
